RimWorld Royalty expansion released

Hello everyone and welcome!

RimWorld has received a brand new expansion today. With my NDA lifted I can now confirm I was the graphic designer behind it, working closely with Ludeon Studios to provide you guys with something unique, never-before seen in the form of any mods experience.

With this expansion, you will be able to maintain a relationship with a Space faring civilisation known as the Empire. Learn new psychic spells, partake in imperial quests and advance in the ranks to become a Count, with imperial forces at your disposal.

This post is not meant to advertise or force you guys to purchase it. It's me, saying that I'm proud to work on something that grand, and I can't wait to hear what you guys think about it.

As for the mods, we have almost fully updated everything to 1.1. Remaining mods are the Faction mods, Vanilla Hair Expanded beard functionality and Spacer furniture module.

We have also something very interesting in store - a collaborative work of several Vanilla Expanded fans and me. You will find out more soon enough.

We are constantly looking into it, we managed to get the beards to work on 1.1, but they don't show up on pawn icon on the top of the screen yet.

I am always available at our private Vanilla Expanded discord, talking to the guys and girls, hosting regular streams where we all chill and have fun as well as posting screenshots of development in progress. As for the beehive, never seen it before. It's not any of ours, sorry.

Hey, two questions both totally unrelated to this, is there a better way of contacting you than just finding the most recent Patreon post? Second, I’ve stumbled across a beehive in 1.1 desert and I’m not sure if that’s new to Rimworld or one of your mod packs (I have almost all of them) that added that? Google tells me nothing except old mods that added bees and I don’t have any of those loaded. Congrats again on working in such an exciting project.

Congrats, love seeing your work becoming more and more recognized even so much to be a core contributing creator in the freaking DLC! Also, just wondering if the changes to pawn rendering that's been holding back some of the updates (just the hair I believe?) has allowed for more intricate layering of clothing like the balaclava issue back in 1.0 that people kept going on about. Anyway, hope you can secure more projects with Ludeon in the future, would love more DLC's for this game with your artwork!

Congratulations on a great job, for everyone involved. hope this opens new opportunities for you to make Rimworld even beter than it already is, with even more mods, collaborations and one can hope even more DLC's as said before keep up this great work to all.

Thats great mate! Bought the xpac as soon as I noticed it. Haven't had time to actually PLAY it yet but I expect i'll be amazing. Thank you!

I was very surprised to see this but keep up the great work and can't wait to see what else you pump out of that big brain of yours :D

Congrats man, played the DLC for a good while today and everything looks awesome

Had a hunch that there was no point in asking you about the upcoming content because of potential NDA, glad I was right. It's always amazing to see dedicated fans' efforts get into the "official" spotlight. I hope you guys will be able to keep this game as alive and well as it has been to this point.
