Hi patrons!
One contradiction of "watercolor journal comics" is that they sometimes take long enough that by the time I'm ready to post them, the thing happened a month or two ago.
This comic had some slightly painstaking digital fixes. I was originally smiling when I said "It's too late for me, but I can still help." After drawing it that way, I realized I wanted a more serious expression. So I drew a different mouth-line in pen, and used the stamp tool in Photoshop to cover the smile lines with the same color and texture as the rest of my face.

I also realized too late that the second-to-last panel border cut off the back of my skirt and the heel of one boot in an awkward way. So I decided to make it a borderless panel, and scoot the figures and word balloons over to the right. Thank you, stamp tool and lasso tool. I'm really happy with how this turned out!

I usually don't do full-page newsletter cartoons, but for the second time in a month, I couldn't resist:

Not pictured: Roger wiping down surfaces in the dressing rooms, and opening the weird old-timey windows for ventilation.

I'm going to miss the hell out of this quirky building when our lease ends. We actually had a party there Wednesday evening, to officially announce where we're moving in the fall. Here's the info, if you're curious!
Thanks, as always, for supporting me on Patreon! I don't have a different way to say it every week or three, but it really means a lot.
Also, happy Solstice!
