I listened to the episode on the way to a free Palestine protest and wept for so long hearing Bushnell’s final words. The speakers at the protest said a prayer for Bushnell. There was something cathartic about seeing thousands of strangers in one space acknowledge his martyrdom

2024-03-06 05:32:18 +0000 UTCI was in like kindergarten in 2001, I remember watching 9/11 anniversary docs one year that were on every channel like once I was old enough to understand what it was. And I remember thinking as I watched these replays of 9/11 footage “this is like if someone showed a fucking snuff film on tv” and never watching anything about 9/11 on tv again. It makes me laugh in hindsight because it’s like a base human rejection of American media
