It took them 2 years to make 19 tunnels and place the explosives and when the allies touched off the mines it was the largest explosion in the world until the nukes. After the explosion the allies attacked using a barrage of 2,000 heavy artillery. 16:45 only Tanya could be comfortable on a submarine, no worries about ducking through hatches. 21:00 Tanya being so young military law prevented her from drinking alcohol or smoking, so coffee was her only outlet. John Bulls is a slang term for the English, like our Uncle Sam.
