that's what they did for The Eight Fingers, They let Kokuno? icr the name. Cockroach king you called him, he let his children eat their insides and heal them back up to do it over again for obedience. The problem with revive the dead is the it cost's them lvl's which is why they are weaker when coming back, There is a Class called noble, and it costs 3-7 lvl's to revive with lesser Revive, ainz's staff could do it once a day at the cost of 2 of two of their lvls. Example: (princess Rana was a lvl 6 princess, lvl 4 actress and lvl 5 genius so a lvl 15) the lvl in the game restricted your class and job class. iirc lvl 20 is highest you can get in a class/racial class/job class before it become an requirement for a high tier Class. Ainz race is Overlord. the order and lvl he has are these. Skeleton Mage (15) Elder Lich (10) Overlord (5) +(10) lvl's in his racial skills. (it's not specified.) Job class lvl's Necromancer (10) Master of Death (10) Eclipse (5) etc (35) he needed eclipse, nercromancer and master of death as requirments to unlock the racial upgrade of Overlord. The 35 extra lvls went into every spell school as he was the guilds stratagist and wanted to learn every spell to know how to fight against it or need it when the time came. lvl 100 were resticited to 300 spells but Of course ainz needed more and was able to memorise 716 spells from his special ability Dark Wisdom, anytime he Pk'd someone he could memories one of their spells FOREVER. those that required resources he didn't have would be cast through the staff of ainz Ooal gown, which converted mana into a 1:1 ratio for all resourses. (rage, energy or stamina) not to mention over 30 differnt undead/demon summons. top 2 being Elemental skull you see in the next episode. (not as powerful that it actually is due to -spoilers-) and Overlord wiseman. overlord wise man is lvl 90 summon but would be stronger than ainz and not only cost's ainz lvl's but only can summon 1 of them. as it's a summon of the exclusive race that he couldn't unlock himself. (i think one of the requirements of wiseman overlord was to learn 500 spells, but can't remember the rest, if i recall it might of being revive players and control 200 lvl 80 undead players at the same time)

2023-10-08 21:25:05 +0000 UTCa little detail from the LN with those nobles, when they asked Ainz to save their families, Ainz is a man of his word, their famlies were also going to be collected and brought to nuronist, since he agreed he would "spare their lives" he wouldnt kill them unless they truely begged for their lives to end. the nobles didnt just get themselves tortured and killed, they doomed their famlies to the same fate. Ainz was actually starting to consider letting some of the soldiers and citizens of the capital escape after the talk with Zanac, the nobles really did make things far worse.

The first time we see the 2nd Prince, we get a bad first impression, because he calls the Princess a monster and we're seeing it from the perspective of Climb, who we are confident is a good person. But he really had been trying to help the kingdom all this time, but had several roadblocks for him to lead. He had the king, and an older brother, and the nobles were in split factions, so on and so forth. This episode we get to see him finally capable of taking the lead and earns the respect of Ainz and basically every viewer ever. The nobles were truly the downfall of the whole country. The Emperor of the Empire was known as the "Bloody Emperor" because he at one point killed all the nobles that tried to oppose him and it feels like they are the main contrast represented between the two countries. One country had trash idiots tugging on the skirts of those in charge and one country did not. The nobles hated common born, including Gazef and Climb. So the king could not take Gazef's advice. If the king did, then there was an anti-king faction that would use that against them. And obviously the idiocy of stealing from the Sorcerer Kingdom itself.

2023-10-06 09:44:52 +0000 UTCDont think the release date for the overlord movie has been announced yet, just heads up though this season convered the 10, 11 and 14th novel, the movie is 12 and 13, this is also why when ainz declared war and they submitted the written statement with stamps of kingdoms suporting the war, the "holy kingdom" was on it, also anytime you heard Ainz was sending supplies to the theocracy that was a mistranslation, it was going to the holy kingdom and the holy kingdom access is through re-estize kingdom, the war declaration was at the start of novel 14 and there was a large time skip since you didnt get to see 12 and 13 yet. They actually make afew statments of things that happen in 12 and 13 in the show. (honestly wish they did the 14th as a 2 and a half hour movie instead since it was one of the longest LN of the series and so much detail got skipped in the show for the war)
