Changes to 6 Word Requests

Hey all! Hope you're all enjoying the work I'm putting out this month. I'm doing my best to plow through all of the backlog I let build up and I'm having a BLAST doing it.

Sadly, I do have to yank the leash on the 6 word requests just a teensy bit. I know I said before to shy away from proper nouns/real people in the requests, but that I'd consider them and possibly reject them.

Well, I'm a big old softie and I'm staring at a pile of requests of people I'm not that familiar with that I didn't have the heart to shoot down.

See, if you're a fan of an athlete, instagram model or movie star, you're really familiar with that person. You're tuned in and know the guy, top to bottom.

But when I try to write that person, I'm writing a CHARACTER. And I don't know what every football player or Insta-builder is like, so, beyond just describing the guy in the story, I end up having to do a ton of research to figure out how to write the guy.

With visual artists, it's no sweat: look at a picture of the guy, then draw that guy. But it's not as easy for me. I could just ignore the details and squeeze out a story written however I want, but there's a part of me that really wants to nail it so you can enjoy it.

It slows me down which, in a month where I'm firing out two stories a day, is a real bummer.

So starting June 1st, all 6 word requests should be free of specific names. Describe the kind of guy you want ("Cocky football Player" for example, which I know eats up 3 of those words) and then I'll spin up a character you'll love seeing go through whatever devilish idea you've got, also allowing me the freedom to create a character without being bound to RECREATE a real human being.

Really sorry for slinging restrictions at you! Trust me, I get it--I've been commissioning Richie Incognito stories for years and NOBODY knows who that is. I just want y'all to have a good time, and I really do worry about whether or not you enjoy your requests.
