I love this episode so much! The moment that Parrish absorbs Lydia's scream is so cool! Also this episode explains the connection between those 2. Then Stiles running to Lydia and saying," Lydia, will you shut up and let me save your life?" is so reminiscent of when he said," Lydia, get off your cute little ass and dance with me now." Way back when. Then he has his moment with her when Deaton pumps mistletoe into her skull. Then Lydia says that Stiles saved her! And omg Stiles needed a good feeling! So many bad things have happened to this kid. He needed to save someone's life. Not only that, he needed to hear a person he cares about say something like that (what Lydia said,"Stiles saved me!")!

I'm a bit behind and trying to catch up on episodes after a busy week but when counting up all the chimeras you forgot about the chimera girl that was stabbed with Kiras sword on the McCall family dinner table in episode 7. They never give her a name and Im also curious because does the guy from the first episode with the blue glowing claws not also count as a chimera? Or maybe they explained that and I missed it.

I feel like so many people overlook Lydia and her power. Like... She's literally the most powerful person on the show. And ahhhhh! STYDIAAAA!!! How he STILL jumps to cover her from danger. (First the birds, now the glass) And the panic in his eyes, and voice when he thinks she's dead, and her telling her mom "Stiles saved me" 😭😭😭😭 I love it so much!!

this episode!!!! so so good!!! and btw random thought, i haven't thought once about Derek this season! the main characters of this show + the new additions this season are so good that i don't even care about him not being here anymore and i actually prefer the show focusing on the actual teens! s5 is so good and this one was such a memorable episode
