Jeff Davis said it was her decision. She asked to leave; I believe she thought she had nowhere to go in the story as Allison, and she wanted to move on to other acting jobs. Jeff really hated to see her go.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate what an incredible actor Dylan O'Brien is, playing two such different characters, the way throughout the last few episodes he'd switch between Stiles and the Nogitsune is just amazing

I completely agree! That's a big part of why i only like season 1-3 of the vampire diaries. It just got so boring and repetitive. It would have been so much better if the rings only worked 1 time and when the next person died it would actually be a lot more impactful.

i "love" that Allison dies! here me out, i loved her most of the time, but i love when tv shows kill one of the main character (thankfully it's never my favorite one so maybe that's why?) but i find it so refreshing! especially in a world like teen wolf, vampire diaries... they're adolesent fighting supernatural things, if no one dies, it gets boring! and as much as i love the dynamic of lydia and allison, scott and allison being friends, chris (poor chris :( ) and allison and isaac together, i'm so happy for what it means to the rest of the show and i feel like if she stayed, it would maybe start to get old.. that's why i was happy that jackson left too, it's always fun to mix it up with the main characters! i know that's probably a weird opinions, but it's also why over the years, with rewatching shows, i prefer teen wolf over vampire diaries, i think it's more realistic and the friendships and relationships are more real too! elena is "sleeping", bonnie is coming back from the dead for the 8th time thanks to whatever? (we can't kill her for good so let's just press on the restart button over and over again), jeremy, matt and alaric are always wearing that ring and never dying.. it's boring, there's no graduation or empathy towards death in vampire diaries bc only the side characters die (and that's sad, yes)! teen wolf is not afraid of killing main characters, of course it doesn't have to be every 10 episodes lol but killing someone like allison, was an amazing choice, but she'll be missed of course!! (they also love to send people away to london? i hate that lol)

Im going to be honest, this was the last episode I was ever able to watch teen wolf when I was young. I refused to continue because I loved her and Scott together I loved Allison as a character. I couldn't watch any further so I have no idea what happens after. And just like the first time I watched it when it first came out I cried again like a baby. But because of you I will finally be able to watch what happens after this episode so thank you for that. Gosh I'm so sad and crying all over again. I don't even know what to expect after this episode. :( I am in my 20s now and when this came out I was in junior high but gosh it still hurts and I don't think I will ever understand why they killed her off. I didn't even bother looking it up like I usually would, so I have no idea if she comes back or not or if it was the writers choice to kill her off or if she wanted to leave the show herself. If she does not come back then I am really curious to find out why because I feel like her story was not over yet, her character had so much more growth left. Sad girl hours now :(

I remember watching this live and screaming/crying I was so mad/sad. Then I found out they killed her off bc fans were being toxic towards her and I was livid. She was such a good character and toxic fandom ruined it like they do everything

Allison is a lot like cami in that the fandom gives her alot of hate but she was one of my favorites from the beginning I think because I related to her a lot. This episode hurts to rewatch everytime. I do like that the actress asked for her last moments to be with Scott. It made sense to me. She had such a huge connection to Scott & the friendship they had after they broke up was great. Poor Chris, his dad was a psycho, he lost his wife & now his daughter. I wasn’t expecting Allison’s death when it happened, I thought it might be Chris from the scene earlier with him and ally, so this hit me when I first watched it. Rip to my girl 🙏🏼, can’t wait for the finale!

Plus I’m pretty sure it was crystal reed (allison’s) idea to have her say those words to Scott because the writers were pushing allisaac throughout the season, and I’m sure crystal dated Daniel (isaac) and broke up before s3 ended so couldve played a part in that and I think Jeff Davis wanted her to tell Isaac she loved him or something along those lines

I am so happy that you didn't laugh or think it was stupid that Allison said she loved Scott in front of Isaac. I see a lot of reactors do that and i never understand why. I always thought Scott and Allison would find their way back to each other anyways but Isaac and Allison had just started something so i think it would have been weird if her last moment was with him instead of Scott or her even her father. And yes, i cry every single time i watch this! 😅 I do still like Scott and Kira, Allison and Isaac but i just preferred Scott and Allison.

Also apart from her death, I never really understood the build up to rafael’s moment with Scott, like they mentioned it so much and the tension was building so I was expecting some major supernatural kind of thing that would’ve changed the story but apparently not

Allison dying whilst saving isaac and trying to get Lydia out will always hurttttt and even as the biggest allisaac shipper to walk this Earth I wasn’t even mad at Allison for having her I love you Scott moment because I feel like it just bought her story to a proper close, plus I don’t think isaac really would’ve thought anything bad of it because he isn’t really selfish in that sense and was truly just heartbroken himself that he lost her and couldn’t help save her in that moment
