I really love Steroline, in the whole show they are my favorite couple after klaroline. And the reason why I'm shipering Klaus and Caroline more is probably because he was the only one in the whole series who immediately saw her. He was the first person in tvd who always put her first, even before family or revenge, which was always important to him, given that he had been chasing Catherine for 500 years. And even if we forget that I personally don't particularly like Cami, I wouldn't be able to ship Klamill for the simple reason that it would mean that, firstly, Klaus' words turned out to be a lie (He is your first love, I intend to be the last, however long it takes. Which means that he will always love her and wait for her, since they are immortal). And considering the fact that I watched this series when the episode just came out, this speech had a very strong effect on me (at the time neither klamill nor steroline were even born yet). And secondly, if we forget about the last seasons of tvd and to, then I can't stop thinking about what would have happened if Caroline had still accepted Klaus' offer and came to New Orleans. And in the end, he would either choose Cami, which would mean that again there is not a single person in the whole show who would put Caroline first. Either he would have chosen Caroline (which I believe in with my fan heart), but then it would have meant that he didn't love Cami that much. And that, I think, is the difficulty for many people - to ship both pairs at the same time. I want to point out that I like Leia and her acting, and she didn't leave because of the threats sent to her by some toxic fans of Klaroline. Just like Nina didn't leave because of Ian in season 6. It’s all just fan’s theories or just something they want to believe in. (by the way, there were many death threats to Ian's wife from Delena's fans, and many more death threats to Candice's daughter from Klamill and Klayley fans who were sent to her before season 5 of the originals, when they announced her participation in it. In general, all actors receive threats, and I just feel offended when they blame the entire fandom of klaroline for Lea's departure (she herself admitted in an interview that she did not leave because of this). There are toxic fans in every fandom, but most people are still adequate and pleasant. In general, I just decided to finally express my opinion. Stefan, Klaus and Caroline are my favorite trio in the whole show, and klaroline and steroline are my favorite couples of all.
