2021-07-27 07:30:07 +0000 UTCI don't know if you made the connection, but I think (I'm not sure) that the witches who sacrificed themselves around the bell to save the city are the same ancestors who were helping Bonnie at the start of the series bc we sees the same old house behind where she had resurrected Jeremy and she was talking about the mystical energy that emanated from that place this is bc all the witches died in this same place at that time! π

We donβt like him just for his looks lol heβs a great villain a real psychopath and thatβs why Kai along with Klaus, Silas for many of us always stands as one of the best characters/ Villain TVD has ever had. Chris Wood above all is a great actor and he acts so well thatβs what impresses me most about him and he took Kai to another level. Though I agree this season isnβt that great and they Could have done much better with the lore itβs definitely not good writing but there a few episodes which are good and somehow make up for it for me atleast. Also Iβve heard many people even critics saying they dragged the show too long so probably thatβs why they ended it sooner with 8 seasons and a few episodes in the last one. Not sure but could be.

They should added some more lore to this season...and made this a 20 episode season...I feel like it would have done more justice to the show
