Also Elena definitely wants to take the cure and Damon knows that very well and him saying he wants to take the cure came as a huge shocker to her when I heard Damon say this I myself was silent for like a few minutes I couldn’t believe it I’m sure this came as a huge huge shocker to all the fans/ viewers. I’m so happy seeing Bonnie so strong she’s the best And I’ve noticed one thing with Damon regarding Bonnie he listens to her immediately he has a lot of respect and love for her and her happiness/ opinions does matter to him though he fucks up at times and messes things with her he still at the end makes it upto her - Bonnie Challenges Damon and Bonnie really likes him we can see that. I just love seeing their relationship grow ❤️

He's simply saying that to push Elana away. Because he did do as Lily demanded to get the ascendent back before she destroyed the cure. He just didn't get it back how he planned.

He got his mother back and she’s been 100% honest, she told him how she feels and she has made an effort to try and rebuild a relationship in my opinion and he is conspiring against her, betraying her trust of finding the people she loves most dear. I hope she dose destroy that cure and I hope she gets her family “the heretics” back. I personally really like Lily’s character so far because she’s been so truthful and honest and compassionate and I feel bad for what she’s been though especially now she killed someone you can see how much pain she is in, I hope Lorenzo helps her and she is happy even if she dosent rebuild a relationship with her children, she deserves to be happy

She never wanted to become a vampire and he knows that. And there is also a small part of him that wants to be a human as well. Remember in season 2 right after Rose died, he was drunk and upset and was talking to this girl. He said «I’m not human, and I miss it - I miss it more than anything in the world. That is my secret.» And about them taking the cure together. Elena takes the cure, and then Damon will drink the cure from her. Like what Silas did with Katherine and then she started to age rapidly because she was like 500 years old. If she had the cure in her system then she would just age normally from the age she turned. Elena without the cure in her system would do just fine because she has only been a vampire for what, 2 years? So she would turn 20, her actual age.

2021-06-08 22:01:53 +0000 UTCit can work like that. elena takes it like katherine did, and damon sucks it out of her like silas did. then elena will age like katherine did since the cure is out of her system, but since katherine was 500+ thats what she aged to, and you can't live at 500. elena is only 20-25 so she'll age to that and be fine. as long as no one sucks it out of damon he should be fine too.
