This broke me. When Caroline said she didn't get to say goodbye, I lost it :c I lost my gran to stage 4 cancer and I never got a chance to say goodbye. I remember rushing to the hospital and running down the hall to her room and everyone was gathered outside her door and she had already passed and I just..ugh. Seeing you get emotional really hit me. I know it's been years but losing someone, that pain, always makes a home in your heart, though it dulls as time passes. Moments like the one in this episode, just bring everything back. Doesn't help that LIZ is one of the warmest and wholesome characters who just always got the short end of the stick. She deserved so much MORE but that's life, I guess. So happy Liz had Damon with her <3 & Caroline has Stefan. Those two relationships are so SOLID ♥

2021-06-03 09:08:31 +0000 UTCThat memory of Caroline riding her bike when she was a kid and her living in that memory again when she’s dying wow how beautiful was that and so heartbreaking at the same time - Stefan is such a beautiful soul I’m so happy he told her to do this and he calmed her down. He was with Caroline all this while Stefan has my whole heart ❤️ I love TVD the show gives us such great memories/ moments in every season..

2021-06-03 06:14:56 +0000 UTCAww Jer that ending broke me soo freaking bad I’ve seen this scene of her dying moments and Caroline’s Memory with her after a really long time this just broke me I always cry so much in this episode and the next one it’s not even funny. Sucha beautiful episode I’m happy we had no Kai in it no extra drama the Enzo/ Sarah stuff yeah not interested in that honestly other than that this episode is beautiful with such wonderful amazing moments. That Steroline kiss is everything I was so happy seeing your reaction to it. I loved Damon and liz’s moments together they were so so beautiful she asked him to write her eulogy how sweet is that 🥺 I just can’t and it hurt Damon so much to see her suffer and go. They really became so close it’s just beautiful to see.
