Good season premier for sure. But for me season 2 premier was much better than this. It hurts watching Stefan Damon and Elena so broken can see it in their eyes. Andy though :(( Paul has the best crying face ever just felt like getting into the screen and giving him a huge hug 🥺Caroline lifting that guy was the best scene this episode haha. Btw I knew they would get together Tyler and Caroline they were hinting on this from season 2 and honestly I really like Tyler from season 2 huge character growth for him so i was very happy with them getting together in this episode- although it’s only some hardcore sex for now 😛 But I get your hate for Tyler it’s just hilarious for me how much you hate him most reactors I’ve seen love him like crazy your the first I’ve seen who hates him so much 😆

Good first episode, I think this season is going to be hard for Stefan, as we've seen in the last scene when he comes out of the bar, he tries to breathe as if he is suffocating, he feels like he is drowning in violence, blood, guilt and a role he doesn't like for the sake of those he loves even if that includes doing bad things, at this time, Andy's death is just like any other. He is drowning, dying slowly. Damon seems more at peace as you saw him unlike the last season where he was a little crazy as soon as we touched his emotions, he was raw, very impulsive following the multiple rejections in love, the guilt, the anger, the jealousy, let's say that he was really not very well, not that he is now but now he must be strong for Stefan after he sacrificed everything to save him. You're right his relationship with Andy has evolved into a more equal one and where she has more freedom, he no longer plays with her like a toy. Elena, who is naive about Stefan, she wants the man she loves back but she has to realize that there is a difference between what we want and what must be done, besides Stefan suffers and he contained and suffered a lot, he's not the same as before, there's a lot of guilt that has to be digest and he's not even at this stage yet so ... But I pity her, a hard birthday. As for Connie and Bitchface although your reaction is funny and childish, as they are a new couple they will be for a good while maybe even until the end so you will have to live with it. In short, a good episode.

It can be argued that Stefan killed Andy to push his brother away in order to protect him and Elena from Klaus, which is relevant and just as twisted as Damon's past actions. We see that Stefan still cares about his brother and Elena, he tries to make them believe that he has abandoned his humanity, and that he does not want them so that they do not seek to save him and be killed by Klaus.

Not really even. Damon had a reason to kill Lexi, she was Stefan best friend, that doesn't make it right but he had reasons, the sheriff was very close to find the truth about them and there are other reasons why Damon and Lexi didn't like eachother, plus Damon at that time had his humanity still on a dimmer switch. Stefan had no reason at all to kill Andy in cold blood, with his humanity on, so conciously and Andy was his brother's girlfriend her death was totally unnecessary. Is not that after Andy death Elena or amon would stop looking for him So no, the two things cannot be compared.

Haha the actor - Ian Somerhalder - was actually naked in that scene, he had these elephant ears on each side of his thighs and tape covering his youknowwhat. So Elena’s reaction was Nina’s genuine reaction 😅
