Elijah’s entry was so badass loved that scene so much Damon was like super impressed if u see his face 🤣🤣 so funny. I love Damon and Alaric’s friendship so freaking much. When Damon was tied up to that chair the first thing he did was he checked it Alaric had the ring on that shows how concerned he is for Ric just love them. I love Tyler I know u don’t but his character developed so well from S1 he goofed up here but I understand whr he’s coming from. What he told Matt was so genuine really warmed my heart. Yes this sucks for his mom but I feel this is necessary he needs to learn more about being a werewolf and being with other wolfs etc this episode had a beautiful ending...

Elena is not a crybaby, do you realize she lost her parents and she saw them die, would you be all cheering and smiley if you experinced that horror? I would be traumatized for the rest of my life!! It is not her fault if she is a doppleganger, target of an original, she is trying to keep everybody safe, the best she can, not to lose anybody else because she has survivor guilt issues.

John's fingers are part of a plothole that always bugs me. The vampire blood stefan fed him should have healed him if his fingers had been sewn back on.

If you hate Tyler I suppose you hate Elena ? I hate her so much crybaby and controlling everyone’s life

I have a Q.....can I have some of what ever you are smoking/drinking 😜

He can't seem to get past what happened with Vickie....he seems to think Tyler would have raped her if Jeremy hadn't come along in season 1, I tried explaining Tyler was pissed about her saying no to him (anger issues) , and acting like a spoiled teenager.

I really like Elijah in this episode and what he shows of his abilities, he is really badass, I would be really terrified if I find myself in front of him as an enemy, he is not joking around. I really like the friendship that Damon and Rick have, it's really cool that they have built a friendship that started with hatred and is still evolving over time, especially since they are the two oldest in the group (of those who are aware of the supernatural) so the old ones among themselves 😂. I know that in reality it's just the character of Tyler that doesn't come back to you, even if he was nice there is something that bothers you, that's why we don't like certain characters, that happened to me sometimes that 'good' characters annoy me enormously when in the end they are correct, it's just like that, I can't stand them. But it is true that concerning Tyler, for me, at the beginning I did not like him but I must say that from season 2 he became more pleasant to me even if in the end I was never transported by his character. As for Elena, I understand her on one hand, if you have to choose between yourself and the people you love, you rather die but it would make sense if she made this decision at the end if there is no other solutions, while they are just starting to try to find options to fight Klaus, get ahead of Elijah, so being ready to be sacrifice from the start doesn't really make sense. In any case, good episode I can't wait for the rest.

Elijah can rip people heart apart with the same effort he could put into breathing, "minimum effort maximum damage" is Elijah second name and Damon was so impressed, the look of admiration when he saved him speaks volumes.

Sorry but I feel the need to plead Tyler’s case. He comes from the most prominent and rich family in town, he was raise as only child, therefore spoiled rotten, used to have everything he wants. His had an abusive father and therefore has hanger issues, he thought. Then we discover that actually his hunger is coming from the fact that his werewolf side is pushing him to go off and kill to trigger the werewolf side. This is happening to a 17 years old teenager that just experienced the loss of his father, his uncle that he was hoping he could help him and the most horrific and traumatic experience ever, turning into a wolf. All of the sudden from a relatively easy life, he is plunged in this world of secrets and danger, completely unequipped, where people kill each other and he is as scare and confused as any seventeen years old boy would be. I’m not absolving his behaviour towards Caroline and Elena, but he’s been acting stupidly out of confusion, out of been badly traumatized and scared stiff of turning again, out of feeling alone in this and everybody is giving him conflicting information. Caroline is clueless about what a werewolf should do or be, so she can help him up to a point. Plus, his mother is the Mayor. But after a moment of sheer stupidity, he came around and came back to the reality of the people he knows and loves. He feels he can’t stay there, with the risk of killing his friends, his mother. He thinks with his actions he burned bridges with everybody. Also he has to learn how to be a werewolf and get some control. As usual, the brilliant music score plays the role of a voice over when he leaves his old life, to embrace his new one. This song’s words are so poignant: “You didn't ask for this. Nobody ever would. Caught in the middle of this dysfunction. It's your sad reality. It's your messed-up family tree. And all your left with all these questions. Are you gonna be like your father was and his father was? Do you have to carry what they've handed down? No, this is not your legacy. This is not your destiny. Yesterday does not define you. No, this is not your legacy. This is not your meant to be. I can break the chains that bind you….”. I feel sad for Tyler. The point of this show for our little circle of friends is to part from the older generation and have a different life, hatred free. No character in this show is entirely good or bad and everybody has motivations for acting in a certain way. So the show message really is don't have hatred in your life, be compassionate. Here is the song with the lyrics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlqH5-T9WtI
