Hi folks!
It's been a while, so I think it's time to write down my plans for this page's future and the approach for upcoming projects.
The thing is... I'm trying to control a little of my hyperfocus issue. It helps getting things done, but it also takes a toll on your health as you get older while keeping an average of less than 4 hours of sleep per night.
For some time, this seriously made think about "retiring" after completing LiS. But then, I decided to give the "Harm Reduction" approach a try. So... here's what we'll have:
I won't commit to an expected release frequency. Release cycles can take a month, two or more depending on the level of life demands in the period.
I'll start using the "early access" mode. Release posts will become public after a couple of weeks. This way, you can take breaks on your pledges without losing access to an "official" source to download the game
After the new game reach some fair level of content, I'll publish it on itch.io with keys available for tier 2/3 patrons. This way you'll have instant access to updates even while taking a break on the pledges.
Finally, next project is going to be the "Space Game" parody. Mostly because it won't require lots of work on 3D models from scratch, allowing me to focus on the stuff really I like to mess with (coding and design). You can check on the attached video a little concept of a combat system I plan to have on it.
I'll have more details about it soon.
See ya!
Peace!
