"You're a better man than your father, always were" Truer words have never been spoken. I love how this episode sets up the kind of King Arthur will one day become, rallying for a trial, fair to all his subjects and servants. Like with Gwen, granted the things he's promised her in this episode probably weren't things she was thinking of right after her father died, but Arthur had the mind to make sure she'd be secure no matter what given the questions and scorn that may aimed her way unfairly from his father and others in town based on her fathers actions. That she'd still have a home, and a job after everything and not have to worry about that as well as her grief is just so sweet and kind of him to think of, especially given his unwilling role he was forced to play in everything.
