Welcome to this week's edition of the weekly post 📅. This week, we'll be talking about the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack 🛻 and some news about our new merch 🛍️.

Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack

Good news! 🎉 We've settled on a due date for the upcoming minor update. We aim to bring it available on July 1st 📅, with it entering testing a week before that 🧪. In the update, you'll see a couple of new components, a new livery, and you'll see BeamNG's additions to the T-Series brought by 0.32 ported over to GTSEP 🚚. It will also incorporate a big fix that could potentially break mods that were made compatible with GTSEP as the truck is then fully standalone from the base game T-Series 🔧. Currently, it's most of the way there but not entirely.

Part additions include but may not be limited to sleeper aero foils (also commonly called side wings or air deflectors) for the big sleepers 🪁, 2 new bumper styles 🚙, more lighting options 💡, and mudflaps on the hood fenders, sidesteps, and rear fenders 🚛.

With everything we've got planned for GTSEP, our chief producer began to question whether or not it would be feasible to keep the size of the mod under 488.3 Megabytes as that is the maximum size allowed on the BeamNG forum/repository 💾. Because of this limit, we're considering setting a file-size budget for the mod and trying to get as much stuff in that as possible 📏. Something like this would also mean that some things, no matter how cool they are, simply aren't worth getting into the main mod 🚧. Such things could then become optional add-ons 🔄. All of this is still very much under consideration, so take this with a grain of salt 🧂.

Merch News

We received our first out of three samples this week, it being the retro trucker hat 🧢. We're very pleased with the result, so the hat is officially going to be added! ✅

The mug ☕ and the sticker 🏷️ are yet to arrive. When we ordered the samples, we messed up with the shipping address 📦 so they're taking longer to arrive. When they do arrive, and if they match our expectations, we'll launch the merch 🚀.

Closing Thoughts

It's been a decent week overall. We sprinkled some attention to our 3 currently in development items relatively well so we've got progress on all fronts 🌟.
