2024-05-24 13:46:05 +0000 UTCPart of what makes this show so special is that the actors playing both coaches and the team captain are all on the writing team, so they had a ton of input on how these characters are portrayed and how the story goes. Also, this show came out during the thick of the pandemic, while Trump was still President, and when the world really needed to know that wholesome attitudes and hope could still survive. This is the show that I turn on when I've had an awful time and I just need to remember how to be a person again.
