TE-60 Stiletto C-1 Bare metal silver paint

This month's first post is much later than I typically would kick off the month, and this is due to working heavily on the final stretch of content for that giant Palladium Books gig I have noted has consumed my time the last month, or so. The good news is the work is very much at the hind end, so I hope to be wrapping soon. It's also been a really cool project that, again, I unfortunately can't elaborate on yet. I do expect the official announcement will be coming pretty soon though. Palladium RPG fans will likely dig what I've been toiling away on I imagine. The work I have been doing is another entire book's worth, which is why it has been so involving and demanding of my time.

Now, having said all that; there is going to be a lot of new Patreon material dropping before the month's end, STLs included for sure, but also, new artwork and additional content as well. The Palladium gig was a necessity (the whole paying bills, keeping the lights on, and feeding one's self thing) and will ensure I can resume work for the Patreon and continue to plug away on new content for all of you, along with re-gaining some momentum and growth.

I'm now finally freeing up some time to finish up some paints, take photos, and share these new paints with all of you. As I had noted in my earlier preview peek of this paint, I've been dying to do a silver paint of one of the fighters for some time now. The Stiletto C-1 seemed to be begging for a silver version so here is a collection of new photos showcasing the fighter in silver. It's very simple and direct but the silver does look striking.

Bare Metal Silver Stiletto C-1:
Tamiya AS-12 Bare Metal Silver spray for base coat, various AK pigments for , yellow markings, weathering/tints, red pastel, for the red sensors on the wings. Tamiya TS-80 Flat clear, in various coats to set and seal in the pigment work (I realize I hadn't directly noted this on some of the prior painted print posts, they all have the multiple flat coats).

I'd say, the long wait for the Tamiya AS-12 paint was worth it, the silver looks fantastic on the Stiletto. I will be painting other select fighters with the silver, as I don't feel all of them would look as good with this kind of look, it really depends on the fighter's design aesthetics. There will be other new paints dropping soon as well including a painted version of the recent 1/100 large build volume Stiletto Mk. II. I will be taking a lot of photos of the painting process for this one.

Comments and questions are welcome always, both sub and followers feel free. Also, as I have said before, if you're painting your prints, by all means you are welcome to share photos of your paints in the community section.

More is coming so stay tuned.

Thank you all for the support and have a fantastic weekend!
