Introducing the U.A.P. 2 UNKNOWN
This is the other fighter update that was waiting in the wings, an upgraded variant of the original UAP UNKNOWN fighter; Zbrush renders and photographs of the first test print (actually 2 printed so far).
The new UAP's obvious difference from the original (the white painted print in the photos is the original UAP) is the new fighter has some form of weapon battery, on the forward back dorsal fuselage. Likely an exotic alien missile battery (think Itano Circus/Macross missile massacre for you old school anime fans) of some kind. The new fighter also has augmented beam cannons (the 2, center closest to the missile battery), and various subtle, and not subtle added cosmetic details indicating this is an upgraded version of the same craft as the original UAP (like a commander version).
Obviously the new fighter has yielded a nice looking print. Overall, the print looks fantastic, save some shifting in the very tail end fins. So, I plan to run a couple more tests to try to address this before release, but do expect this one will release soon. The UAP 2 will be June's first release, and I plan to drop some more STL releases before month's end. The work for Palladium Books is trucking along quite nicely, so I should be back to working on the box art and other illustration work for the Patreon soon as well.
More to come! Have a great week everyone!
