While I've certainly posted photos of the painted prints before these are ultimately intended for promoting this humble endeavor, so I've found myself posting them more everywhere else to promote. I certainly intended and should post them here as well more, and that I shall. Seeing these are promotional photos these posts will be pubic (also so the many folks following on Patreon can see and enjoy these as well, and/or, feel free to join to print and paint their own), but there will be Patreon only posts dropping as well (more tutorial process stuff, etc). Here's a collection of photos showcasing 3 painted prints of the TE-66 Sagitta.
The fighters were painted as follows:
US Navy Wildcat style blue Sagitta: Tamiya AS19 Intermediate blue (US Navy) spray for base coat, various AK pigments for light underbelly, white markings, and weathering/tints, and #2 pencil for paint chipping effects.
Faded green and Dark earth camo Sagitta: Tamiya AS5 Light blue (Luftwaffe) spray for base coat, various AK pigments for camouflage, white markings, weathering/tints, red pastel, for the res sensors on the wings and red markings, and #2 pencil for paint chipping effects.
Ocean gray Sagitta: Tamiya AS10 Ocean gray spray for base coat, various AK pigments for white markings, weathering/tints, Tamiya TS12 Orange spray for the orange markings, and again a #2 pencil for paint chipping effects.
I really enjoy painting this one so I expect I'll be printing more soon. Plan to do one with a variation on the Navy blue colors at some point for sure.
Thanks for looking! More to come!
