TE-62 Navaja B

Introducing the TE-62 Navaja B.

The Navaja B is a variant of the original TE-62 Navaja fighter built off the original Zbrush model. Like the previously posted TE-60 Stiletto C-1, this is essentially an iterative upgrade of the original Navaja. This new version of the Navaja sports added new greeble detailing throughout that should help pop what was an already arresting design overall. I always liked how the original Navaja came out but this new version really pushes the design more toward where it could have been in the first place.

I'm running the first test print of this one, literally as I type this. I'll know if I have a solid print, roughly around 9:30 to 10 PM-ish this eve (honestly don't foresee any issues with this one printing either).

TE-60 Stiletto C-1 1st test print

Yesterday I ran the first test print of the Stiletto C-1. Initial, no frills photos (I'll have better photos later, especially painted. As I've noted before, resin doesn't take to photos well, it sucks up too much light) of the test print are included here with more to follow. As you can see, the fighter did yield a nice print, though due to the damn Michigan weather taking a turn back to winter temperatures, the resin had some marbling (it was well stirred, this does seem to happen when it gets below 40 degrees. The cold turn is also why I didn't print 2 days prior as planned). Of course, this is the raw print, but it'll get the sanding treatment in short order, to prep for painting. I'll likely run a few more prints, of both the new Stiletto C-1 and the Navaja B, before dropping an STL release.

All said, there should be 2 new, and rather nice, variant fighters to add to the series. More to follow including, of course, the results of the Navaja B test print.
