So, finally, here we are: The Javelin will be the first printable fighter to be available for download. The Javelin will be number .01 and the first fighter to kick off: Small Scale Resin Printed Replica Spacecraft Series. All of the TE (Tri Engine) fighters printed so far (with potentially other designs like the SFI-19 Arhvazna) are going to be part of this series. I also have some peeks at new TE fighter paints above to close out the month.
The fighters featured in the photos;
Desert camo (Tamiya Dark Yellow base) TE-46 Javelin (the STL promo photo)
Desert camo TE-52 Ballista
A pair of TE-62 Navaja fighters
Insignia white TE-46 Javelin
Ocean Gray 2 (RAF) TE-52 Ballista
The desert camo TE-46 Javelin once again
These are all Elegoo Mars 2 Mono prints. All came out quite nicely, with exceptional detail clarity. All were painted with Tamiya spray paints. Additional color was AK and Mig pigments (AK pigment for the camouflage and both AK/Mig for the weathering washes), pastels, #2 pencil (for paint chipping), and some Tamiya brush paints.
Everything is pretty much ready to go for the Javelin release but, being it's right at the end of the month, I'll just have the release drop officially for the beginning of December. The Ballista will likely be the following release in the series. Initially we'll keep it at one fighter a month with the full digital box art and orthographic color guide template art package. If things really take off we can adjust from there.
It's been a busy month, both with work for Palladium Books and, later in the month getting the final bits sorted for switching the Patreon over to 3D printing and illustration as the main focus. As noted before, I honestly had zero issue with doing NSFW material but, now, it's simply a matter of where to put my time and I feel with the 3D printing I can really offer something uniquely "vulne pro" as an excusive collectable for those of you who join to lend support.
While learning the ropes of resin printing has had it's ups and downs, I've had a blast so far. I hope I can infect those of you who come on board with the same excitement and fun I've had so far... even in spite of the bumps along the way. I want to see what all of you can do when you start printing and painting them yourself. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.
More, a great deal more soon.
Best and Happy Holidays!
