Happy New Year!

As we roll into 2020 the last year has been a bit of trial and error as to finding an approach here that feels right for me and helps grow Patreon as an eventually successful endeavor.

My original I.P. work with TKP work has brought freelance clients to me throughout the years so hiding it all behind a paywall isn't something I ever planned to do (and it was the TKP work that, earlier this year, led Animal Logic to invite me to assist them with some concept work for an animated feature film they have in development). So, for Patreon I chose only the full resolution versions to be Patreon only exclusives with the notion of sussing out what potential new future material could be also exclusive beyond simply "full-res" versions. Needless to say, the work is doing alright, as to engagement, on various social media platforms (considering I have only been back to posting more regularly again for around a couple of years at best) but not translating to Patreon growth (and to be fair I wasn't able to promote as much as I planned this year anyway. It was a busy year).

So, next month (2020 baby), I will be retooling the page a bit more, and folding in NSFW exclusive content that, should still be uniquely my style and very much exclusive reward works for all of you(entirely new stuff unrelated to TKP and Whispers. Steampunk themes, cyberpunk, whatever I find interesting to try). This does not mean I will be abandoning the work I am known for or have been posting here so far, regardless of how well, or not, it has done here on Patreon.

As far as I see it, I'm always interested in trying different things with my art so, why not give some new NSFW content a go if I can find an approach to the art that I find interesting to me, and hopefully all of you. Also, I would have made this page NSFW eventually anyway with some of the planned Whispers of the Deep anthology works (adult themes, language, maybe nudity if the stories went there) so doing NSFW material specifically isn't that far off field from some of what was planned. It's fine moving the order of plans around if trying new works is what gets this page off the ground. At the end of the day, NSFW or not, I plan to continue to enjoy exploring visual design because why do the work otherwise? You have to keep it fun for you, and you would hope, for your audience.

Keep creating folks and here's to a fantastic new year of 2020! Thank you immensely for all how have supported me so far, active patrons or not, and best to everyone for the new year!

Now where the hell is my damn flying car?
