Inktober day 11 - Finally, to round out the Knight Sabers set here's a quick Linna hardsuit illo. This one's more or less based on one of the model sheet illos.
I haven't drawn any BGC fan art literally since the early 90s so it was fun doing these. I've always really dug the design work in BGC, even with the obvious influence from Blade Runner BGC still stands on it's own quite well.
What I find I love about these designs is they are simple, elegant, and straight up driven by pleasing lines and shapes; to put it simply they are damn good designs. A lot of modern design could certainly learn from designs like these, you don't need a metric ton of details, panel lines, and greebles to make a great design, so much of the classic 80s anime design work is proof of that.
Inked with Bimoji, and Copic pens. Some additional minor digital edits and clean ups but still primarily the raw inks.
More color versions of some of the Inktober stuff will land in the paid tiers soon so keep on the lookout for that. I posted all the raw Inktober stuff public simply because it's public everywhere else I posted them, I just want folks to see them.
