Back to posting and artin' that's not tied to an NDA...

My break from posting online, due to the Animal Logic gig, ended up being a good deal longer than planned but I should be back to posting more regularly from this point on. Of course, I can't complain about the absence as I made a nice chunk of, "get back on your feet" money from that gig so I can press on ahead. The money won't last forever of course so I'm very much going to try to get back to growing this little Patreon thing more.

I bought a new beast of a PC to replace my older rig (pre-built this time) and ended up chewing a good chunk of time trying to solve an apparent memory issue before the final step of sending it back. I'd already installed my programs before the problem cropped up so, naturally I wanted to possibly solve the problem before sending it back if I could. I did indeed solve the issue (one of the RAM sticks wasn't seated properly) so all's well and back to makin' stuff. From there it was a lot of time migrating art and program assets from the old PC. So yeah, this kinda ate up some time (Hence a part of what took so long coming back). That said, I have needed to sort through the piles of art I have on various drives anyway and that does take time.

As to the Animal Logic gig, fantastic and a ton of fun. That said, the work I did for the film (animated feature) was internal studio pre-pro pitch materials art so the film is still awaiting a potential green light. The initial phase of work I was contracted for is over so if the film does get the green light I'll likely be back on it in the fall or later (just depends on how long things take). If they don't get a green light, sadly the work will never see the light of day unless they release the NDA (highly unlikely) but, hey, I was well paid just the same and it was a nice surprise to be hand picked to be part of it. For now it's going to be my original works which means the work I post to Patreon... stuff incoming.

Apologies for the time away but we'll try to do some post dumps to catch up a bit. As you all have seen I never took down the work I've posted so far so I'm kinda glad that was the case because there's always work up there you can download if you didn't get it all. To those that stuck it out, my thanks!
