August has been both busy and productive...

A month of sorting out the landscape, both with the work and life without my Father to care for and talk to. As much as the dementia was an issue we did still talk a lot. I'd always try to keep him as grounded in the familiar as I could, both past and present. It was a lot of repetition and routine but it worked for the most part. While his care was taxing at times it became a purposeful routine I got used to. Now, I've eased back to my original working routine and that's been a great feeling, being it's fueled by it's own driving purpose as well. Still, the purpose of the previous routine is, at times, missed because it was driven by trying to make your loved one's life better under the weight of a rather shitty cognitive disease.

I think most of the things you have to take care of after a loved one has passed are sorted out but there have still been a few straggling things that have popped up to take care of. Otherwise everything seems to be sorted so now I can pretty much focus on creative content/freelance, etc. 

As I've noted, I've also been going through a lot of older artwork along with producing new material. The included wall-o-auto design thumbs is a compiled example of just some of the art that piled up over the years. Below is a WIP of selecting specific designs in that collection for more refined/cleaned up images I can do various gray scale and color versions of.

I did expect this Patreon endeavor to be a bit of a slow burn simply because it would have been absurd to not expect an adjustment period after my Father's passing, which I have indeed accounted for. I have a lot planned so for those of you that jumped in with support early on, my deepest thanks! I do hope you stick around because I'm just getting started here. I do have plans for some additional higher tiers but more an easing back into to all of this, after some 9 years caring for my Father, seems the wise path. These new tiers could go up in September or October but they will likely appear soon. 

The afterburners have been on all month in a break in cruise mode, we'll be opening the engines up more and more as we go. Oh, FOIL beastie color preview peek...

I went public on this post because I still have a lot of work to do to grow this little endeavor's audience on Patreon a great deal more. No worries, there will be plenty of exclusive content to come, it's all about building a special Patreon inclusive experience with the creative process after all.
