This was such a relaxing and cozy little scene to work on, I didn't even notice time passing as I moved my pen. And then it was done, all of a sudden, a little earlier than I had anticipated x3
As you may have noticed, this is sort of a follow-up to my Camping Trouble image!
I love it when images end up feeling connected to each other in such a manner, and I hope you do as well! :D
Tried to focus mostly on atmospheric lighting, setting a mood, and working out a strong pose for the two characters here, and I actually like the result very much.
Drawing two characters intertwined like this is not simple if it's supposed to look natural, let me tell you. Took me a bit of fiddling-around to get it right, but I think I pulled it off in the end, and I love how the colours ended up working together. ^^
ALSO: The ever-amazing Joshua actually wrote a little story to go with this one!
It's very sweet and wholesome, and definitely adds a bit of context!
