I'm not dead yet!

Just wanted to assure folks I am in fact alive :) This summer has been insanely busy for me, and things have started to finally slow back down after a major household renovation (of which I have done a massive portion of myself). This winter I will be in a new room of the house getting real daylight and views of trees as compared to my current basement dweller computer station. This change of environment will be a big plus for getting those creative juices going again.

Over the last few weeks I have been working mainly on story line work for Odyssey of the Dragonborn, of which the development team will be having a meeting on the Odyssey discord server (https://discord.gg/a6JuV4F) on the Story_Lounge channel tomorrow morning (Thursday 30th) at 11am PST. Anyone interested is welcome to come and listen in or drop suggestions into text or ask questions. This meeting is aimed at sewing together a few major plot elements and overarching story elements together so we can start to overlay it and interlace it into the overall basic Act outline I established so very long ago.

Additionally I took a day and started the design of a new deck builder board game tentatively entitled Interstellar or Galica. For those who are unfamiliar with the term "Deck builder" it is a genre of game mechanic where the game includes all needed cards to play in one package as opposed to collectable card games or trading card games where you buy packs. Instead you each start the game with a set deck of basic cards and through the course of play draft or purchase new cards to add to your growing deck. This new game follows that model but also employs a board based, miniatures mechanic as you grow fleets of ships with enhancements, varied designs, and utilize special tactical cards and special astral phenomenon research cards to try to explore the stars, build your empire and undo your foes. So far the first draft came together very well and I'm optimistic of its potential. More on this as it develops.
