as always, these prompts were based on patron suggestions: thanks to bees (trees), lostmisfits (galaxy), xan farley (clockwork lover), nak (a thorny/spiky monster), and finally 'spirit of the salt sea' is a combination of ideas from toreadorkable (shells) and ciyu (salt-encrusted ocean spirit).
