halloween is coming up so for the october monster of the month poll i tried picking out a few appropriately eerie requests! thanks to the following patrons for their suggestions of themes and types of monsters: marissa (mantis), verg of towels (plague), coldau ("the creature that hides under the loch's waters"), sasha (swamp-creature), and sonya mann (the void). you are all awesome <3

also, the poll for september's monster of the month ends in just a few days, hurry up and vote here if you haven't already! // update: the poll has ended and it was a draw between queen bee and violet-backed starling harpy. i decided to go with the former simply because i haven't drawn an insectoid monster of the month before. thanks to sonya mann for literally suggesting 'queen bee' and to marissa for requesting insect-inspired monsters!
