HOW TO MONSTER: poll for DECEMBER (HTM4)
Added 2018-10-14 21:05:28 +0000 UTCtime to determine the topic of the next HOW TO MONSTER - HTM4 ! you can vote on several options (but please don't vote for more than 3) !
here's some clarification of each option:
1) how to: themed monsters, what & how: past HTMs have touched on theming characters after elements, natural phenomena, concepts, seasons, habitats, sins and virtues, and so on; this HTM would go into more detail on how to find a theme for your monster and come up with a design that's in line with it.
2) monster faces/heads: pretty much what it says on the tin! designing and drawing monster mugs, a good follow-up to HTM1 (basic monster anatomy) and HTM3 (monster hands/paws/feet).
3) designing monsters (an introduction): a general introduction to designing monsters, that is, the process of generating ideas, doing concept art, and fine-tuning designs.
4) how to: aquatic/amphibious monsters: past HTMs have mostly focused on terrestial monsters, so this is where we'd get to talk about aquatic and amphibious ones too!
5) how to: werewolves: also what it says on the tin. everyone likes werewolves, right?
the poll will end on november 30th, and HTM4 will be released no later than december 31st!
