So just to fill you in as someone who grew up in the 90's, This is Alternative Rock,Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arctic Monkeys, Muse, Radiohead, The White Stripes, Blink-182, Green Day, Linkin Park, and My Chemical Romance and so on. Soooo just so u know you know some understanding, but the rock world goes every direction. Everything is subjective to your age and upbringing but the Alternatve music goes from Metal to Acoustic Guitars with only Vocals and a guitar (Acoustic obviously just baked af). It has a rep for being "Emo Music" but end of the day this is one of the mos diverse area of rock.
