SKETCHBOOK: March redesign; colour concepts // sfw
Added 2018-09-30 21:04:24 +0000 UTCi think i've only ever shown you my character march once, in the first part of my OC lineup that i posted way back in february--he's the purple dragon on the second row. thing is, i never quite felt like that design was 100% right for him. i love the way it looks, but it didn't feel perfectly march-y, if that makes sense? long story short i decided to re-design him, which i'll talk a bit more about in an upcoming sketchdump!
for now, here's a compilation of colour concepts. i eventually settled on A being his "default" colour, but that he might "hotten up" to G or H when he's pissed off or agitated (he's themed on liquid fire/lava). i'm definitely going to use C and F for some other characters, though...
(also, $10+ patrons might recognise these colour schemes from HOW TO MONSTER 2, "how to colour scheme"--told you i'd use some of the example colour schemes for future character designs! ;) )
