the most notable thing about this process pack is that, early on, i realised i needed to adjust the characters' relative size vis-a-vis one another. as i'm sure y'all have noticed by now, i love size difference, and i've drawn some pictures where you'd rightly question how is that ever gonna fit? but usually i try to keep things ... reasonable. there's a point beyond which i can't suspend my disbelief, if the size difference is too damn huge, at least if penetration is involved or implied.
compare steps 5 and 6. what struck me at step 5 is that logan's cock just looked way too big for ariel's mouth and throat. logan is supposed to be a big boy, sure, and ariel can actually open his jaw way wider than expected, much like a snake. but i didn't want viewers to have to possess that previous knowledge in order to believe that ariel could swallow his dick, y'know? so i re-sized ariel a bit - thankfully it wasn't too much work, since i hadn't started colouring him yet.
another thing worthy of quick mention is the colour scheme. i've found myself drawn towards these kinds of colours lately, and i like how they kind of clash with the nature of these particular characters. they're demons, personifications of sin, they've done a lot of nasty stuff. they're protagonists of their story, but they're not good guys. and here i am, painting them with soft pastels and nice warm gold hues. #yolo.
