What’s a Blink-182?

YouTube blocked 🫠

But this should be posted after disputing 🤞

They have some really good songs spread out through a few more popular albums, if you were gonna do a full album you'd probably want to do "Enema Of The State". I'd say it's their most well loved over all, with a couple others right there beside it honestly.

Would love to see more blink 182 on the channel for sure. They have some incredible music

Their song "One More Time" was only released a couple months a go, they only started making music together again a few years ago after a long hiatus.

Tom, the first guy singing left the band for a while but now he’s back. Mark, the guy with glasses almost died of cancer recently and that’s what brought them back together. Hence the, “Do I have to die to hear you miss me.” They do have some slow songs like this but a majority of their stuff is more upbeat pop/punk. They are known for being crazy goofballs and testing the waters when it comes to very inappropriate things🤣 I don’t think they are going to be your style but it would still be cool to see you check out more songs from them.

I only know their stuff that was really popular back in the day....but those were bangers. Idk why I never looked up their stuff and other rock bands, although I like rock...but the stuff on the radio and in the charts is still dear to my heart. Didnt know they made a new song and album.

I'm going to see these guys twice next month!! A lot of their early stuff is really fun, and more up tempo! Absolutely classic pop punk anthems! All The Small Things, The Rock Show, First Date and What's My Age Again are my suggestions!!

Travis Barker was also in a really bad plane crash…that might be the reference too.

Blink-182 has been around since the mid-late 90’s. Personally I prefer their earlier Albums (Enema of the State, Take off Your Pants and Jacket, Blink-182). Also Travis Barker is amazing. I’m not sure how you feel about Soulja Boy’s Crank Dat, but Travis remixed it: https://youtu.be/n8lc6zK44kQ?si=OCR25g-GowJAsgpS Hope you enjoy!

Travis is playing with brushes ... when you want a soft raspy sound on the snare, you can use a set of metal brushes, typical used in jazz music...

Jim Bowhall

If he’s been in an MGK video or something that’s most likely where I’ve seen him, I’ll search him now and see if it jogs my memory 👀

the drummer's name is Travis Barker, he's pretty well-known! he's a good friend of MGK
