The current render progress is :
And with this, it can be said that the entire process has now reached 80 percent.
Sorry for the long post, but I think it's better to share my thoughts here. There's no bad news, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to share the process of working on this project, and of course I'm open to any questions or comments you might have.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But first I'd like to say that I decided to release Episode 5 before I remake Cho's sex scene. I really apologize for that, especially to Cho's fans, because I want to do that remake, but I don't want to delay the release of Episode 5 any further.
In addition, later, during the process of remaking Cho's scene, I plan to remaster some animation from episodes 1 and 2, especially Sophie's sex scene, this is just remastering (not remake, as remake will undoubtedly take much more time).
And when I have finished working on the remake, I will promptly update it with the new file here before continuing to work on episode 6, as I mentioned a few weeks ago. The possibility is that the remake will be completed in about 10-14 days.

Now, what I want to share is this:
I'm surprised I haven't produced more renders, considering I've been using Daz3d for over a year and a half, and since the beginning of January this has been my sole focus (making it a full-time job). And honestly, I've only taken 1-2 days off since the end of 2023. The rest of the time I've been working continuously on this project, averaging 12 hours a day (starting at 3 pm and ending at 3 am).
I'd like to explain the development process of this project. It consists of three main aspects:
1. Lighting and Camera:
Lighting and camera can be considered the keys to the quality of the final render. At first, I used a single HDRI lighting system, which simplified everything, especially during the creation of episodes 1 and 2 before the remake. However, I later learned about and adopted the mesh lighting system, which is far superior. The trade-off is time; rendering with the mesh lighting system takes three times longer than HDRI lighting.
Part of episode 4 still used a mix of HDRI lighting, but since working on episode 5, I've completely switched to the mesh lighting system. And this is directly tied to the camera, because every time I move the camera to a different subject, I have to readjust the mesh lighting system.
2. Environment:
My goal is to create a game that resembles a miniature open world with a lot of detail per object, similar to AAA games. I know I'm an amateur compared to the crews of AAA games, but I always want to be creative with each environment presented in each scene. I've added quite a few items as you can see in the preview above.
Unfortunately, adding these elements requires extra work to place each one manually, since they can't be placed automatically. I also often adjust the shaders to make an environment more appealing and to provide a color combination that is proportional to the 60-30-10 color system. Again, compared to standard environments, extensive environment modification results in longer render times.
3. Posing:
Posing in Daz3d has its own challenges. Conversation scenes usually don't present many problems, just fixing sudden clothing or eye position issues has become my habit. However, the interactions prior to the "sexy time" scene, which I can refer to as the tease scenes, take up a considerable amount of time because everything has to be done by manually. Just adjusting a finger bone that's out of place has to be corrected manually. But it wouldn't be an adult game if we didn't do a lot of teasing and such, would it? :)
Despite all these challenges, having over 700 rendered isn't bad, is it?
So I would like to thank you for your patience, continued support and trust. Hopefully, your patience will be rewarded with content that, in my opinion, continues to improve.
That's all I can share for now. As always, I hope your day is productive and enjoyable, just as I'm having fun throughout the game-making process :)
Warm regards,
BlueInk
