Poll: Wintersun
Added 2025-06-06 16:02:15 +0000 UTCThis one was removed moderately recently because I was annoyed at the prayer mechanic. Turns out every religion mod has a prayer mechanic, so trying to replace it was a waste of time.
Anyway, should we add Wintersun?
Pros:
- We have no religion mod, and this fills the void.
- Enairim, so it matches the rest of the list (power fantasy, yay Enai mods, etc).
- More museum displays.
- More interesting things to find out in the wild.
- Good for RP purposes.
Cons:
- Lots of patching (doesn't really concern you).
- Very OP. Not really a con for a lot of people, though.
- Requires manual praying, and I tend to strongly prefer Passive abilities (unless disabled in MCM; could always make that the default setting with Recorder, but that's a topic for another day).

Patching is a pain in the ass but I do love this mod for the way it can help with role play inspiration, build ideas and internal storytelling.

2025-06-08 09:18:01 +0000 UTCThe nice thing about Wintersun is that you can use the MCM to effectively disable the prayer requirement as well as favor decay and so remembering to pray should never be an issue.
