2020-10-20 14:01:35 +0000 UTCReally nice to have VRR back! In the Varamyr chapter, ‘a sleeping direwolf raised his head to snarl at empty air’. I guess this has to be Summer, but I’m not sure why he’s sleeping when Bran and the Reeds are travelling. If it’s not Summer, it can’t be Ghost (no snarl), and no one else would be beyond the Wall. Maybe Shaggy on Skagos? If it’s none of the Stark wolves, I think this is then the first instance we have of a non-Stark direwolf in the entire story (other than their mother). Always wondered about that...where are all the direwolves?
