Online Mentorship
Added 2022-11-22 20:49:25 +0000 UTCI recently added a tier where I teach the fundamentals of drawing, painting and picture-making so I figured it's a good idea to go into detail about that.
Online classes are structured around your schedule for a given month with a focus on either one general area of study (like portraiture for example) or a variety of topics each week (portrait, figure, still life, color, etc.)
There's a weekly check-in video call where your work is reviewed, we discuss how to improve, and I demonstrate how to practice that skill.
If the weekly video check-ins aren't possible due to your schedule, I can arrange to record the lesson and demonstration so you can watch it when you have time and play it back as many times as needed.
Besides the video call, you'll also be able to message me via discord (or your preferred instant messaging app) whenever you are practicing or are having trouble with a concept. I will do my best to reply immediately to offer any advice you need or to breakdown the process.
Art education and mentorship is important to me since, when I was first learning, a proper teacher to guide me through all the concepts out there seemed really far out of reach. I was lucky to eventually find the people that helped me gain the skills I have now. Nothing would make me happier than to be that guide for others and help them make the images they have in their heads a reality.
