Quick Detour - New Strip Teases
Added 2021-09-19 09:32:09 +0000 UTCI started writing some new content for Lily and Jennifer (more about that in the future) and immediately got side tracked. Both girls have a pay strip event, which has you pay them to take off pieces of clothing. This strip show scene has been in LR2 for a long time, and it's really showing it's age. The system doesn't really go anywhere - there's no way to enter the main sex system, corrupt a girl, or cum to release Clarity. That's a shame, because a sexy strip show seems like a perfect bit of foreplay before you convince a girl to get into some of the heavier stuff.
So I've decided to take some time and make a new strip show system that can replace the old one, as well as be used in a bunch of new situations. The new system will be based around "positions" in a similar way to the sex system. Each StripPosition has a set of descriptions that can be called when a girl is in that position, as well as mechanical information like if she's close enough to touch, looking away or towards you, ect. This new system should make it much easier to mod in new descriptions for existing positions, or define entirely new positions.
While a girl is stripping down or dancing for your entertainment you will also have the ability to take a few actions that you can't in the current system. If a strip position brings a girl close to you you can touch her - feeling up her ass, breasts, ect, which will increase both of your arousal. You can also pull out your cock and jerk off, adding a middle ground between masturbating and full blown (no pun intended) sex. Of course both of these are bold moves, and a girl may not appreciate them, telling you to stop or stopping the show entirely.
This new system is being designed to be a drop-in replacement for the existing payed strip scene, but there are a few other use cases I'm explicitly keeping in mind as well. First, I am stripping for pay is no longer the only option - girls will be able to put on strip shows just for fun. This will likely come up for slutty girlfriends who want to drag you off and seduce you. Obedience will also now be able to substitute in for Love/Sluttiness, but expect a less enthusiastic performance if that is the case. The new system should work really well for private dances at the strip club (or maybe even public ones, if I add some code to allow for watchers, I'll have to look into that), or online strip teases on OnlyFanatics or DikDok.
So that's what I'm going to be working on for the next couple of days. I'll be back with some updates soon, in the mean time leave some guesses on what other content I'm planning!

Bug report (unrelated to the post): When "taking advantage of the trance" -> "reveal an opinion" -> revealing a sexy opinion never works because the Person.get_random_opinion defaults the value for include_sexy to False, but the call in case when "sexy opinion" was selected never overwrites the default.
2021-09-25 16:10:48 +0000 UTCTotally unrelated but I had a thought while mucking around with girls' heights. Currently when a girl gets taller, her images just grow proportionally. Maybe try changing the proportions of girls' sprites as they change height? For instance if a particular image is 250x500 pixels and you double the girl's height, scale it to 400x1000 pixels instead of 500x1000. This makes taller girls appear more lanky and shorter girls more shortstack-y. I'm sure it'd be a lot harder than I describe since you have all the different poses to worry about, and you want things like head shape to stay relatively constant. But as it is, short people just look like they've been hit by a shrink ray rather than being naturally short.

Though your points on a turn to another tier of the game is a good thing that can continue the sandbox but allow a new stream of possibilities. Such as buying a house and making upgrades till it becomes a mansion that can house any βgirlfriendβ which would allow easier management than running to twenty apartments all the time.

After a few game months, the company is making money faster than you can spend it, your stats and skills are all maxed out, It could really use something to keep the game aspects challenging after that point.

2021-09-21 14:38:56 +0000 UTCThis isn't really related to the above, but it feels like office dress codes should include an option to dictate hair colors - i.e., demanding that the employees only have "natural/professional" colors, or to set specific allowed colors - although with the current system that implies there needs to be some sort of reflection of either non-serum-based ways to change hair colors so you can order the offending employee to go get their hair dyed to fit the office dress code (which would suggest it would be something you could order random women to do if they have enough obedience).
