Trance Progress - Writing Trainables

The old Sluttiness system has been reworked entirely so that there is only a single "Sluttiness" stat, which stays where it is after it goes up or down. The mechanics for trances themselves have been implemented, meaning girls may now slip into a trance after they orgasm. The chance they enter a trance (or slide deeper into a trance) is based on their Suggestability. I am now working on the training part of the trance system, which is how you take that trance and turn it into long lasting effects for girls.
The core of the training system is a new class I've called Trainables. Trainables hold all of the information necessary to "train" a girl in some specific way. At it's simplest this is a Ren'py label that points towards the description and effects, plus a Clarity cost to be paid to select it. It's also possible to have Trainables that are hidden or locked based on other conditions. When a Trainable is selected it jumps to the appropriate label, which could be as simple as a direct mechanical effect, or it could be written up as an entire event by itself. The cost of a Trainable increases every time that training is picked rather than being based off of the current level of the stat/skill/opinion it controls. If you manage to put a girl into a deeper trance there is also a reduced cost for all Trainables.
In addition to the stat, skill, and opinion Trainables I had planned on including I have also included a "special" category. This is the catch-all bucket for Trainables I may add that don't have straight forward effects, as well as where Role specific Trainables are placed. Roles may be given a list of Trainables that are only available to people with that role, so people like Lily and Jennifer may have special Trainings added just for them in the future.
Right now I'm working on writing the short events triggered when you select a Trainable. For some, like work skills, this is only a couple of lines. Others, like increasing their Sluttiness or training their sex skills, are being given some more detail and a few branching options that give different effects. Plenty of work still to do, so I'm going to get back to it!

Girls with specific sets of opinions will have special training options to give them a unique role, which will unlock new actions with them. As a quick example, a girl with a love of creampies and a love of bareback sex may be trained to have a breeding fetish, which will let you have sex any time she isn't pregnant, and she'll be happy as long as you do it raw and cum inside her.

2021-07-26 09:04:23 +0000 UTCYep, that's one of the main uses of it actually. You can strengthen or weaken existing opinions you know about, or inspire completely new opinions in girls. Right now it's mostly mechanical, but in the future there may be entire events attached to training certain opinions.

2021-07-20 21:24:02 +0000 UTCIt looks like a great change to the old temp sluttiness, but if we are going to focus on trainning especific likes and removing dislikes, and other trainables. it would be great if some type of combination would trigger an event or unlock some type of "fetish" that would be like a combo bonus for further trainning sessions. Just an idea, this change opens up a whole lot of opportunities to develop unique charaters, and events.
