Dialogue and Pregnancy System Work
Added 2020-05-24 09:59:05 +0000 UTCI've spent the last few days splitting my work between some new dialogue for flirting and working on the new pregnancy system. The new flirt dialogues add unique responses for girls who you are dating or having an affair with. This should help make those relationships feel more impactful every time you interact with a girl.
The core mechanics of the pregnancy system are just about finished now. When starting a new game in v0.29 you will be able to select one of three pregnancy content options: "None", "Predictable", and "Realistic". "None", as you would expect, completely disables any chance of pregnancy. "Predictable" is a simplified and predictable fertility system: girls are always on birth control unless you command them not to be, all birth control is 100% effective if taken (and not circumvented with serums), and a girl has constant fertility throughout the month. "Realistic" has some girls not taking birth control (usually girls who have a positive opinion of getting pregnant), birth control has a base effectiveness of 90% (this is checked after a fertility check. The final pregnancy chance is at least approximately close to real life effectiveness), and a girls fertility fluctuates throughout the month from 200% to 50%.
With the mechanics for getting a girl pregnant in place I am now working on the events that trigger during the pregnancy itself. There are currently a number of different stages, starting with her telling you she's pregnant roughly two weeks after. Over the next nine months her breasts swell, she is switched to a pregnant character model (and her breasts swell more), and then she leaves down for a few days to stay with other family. When she comes back she is back to her old body type, but keeps her enlarged breasts for a couple more months. Each step will have some dialogue triggered when you talk to her after the chance.
v0.29.0 will contain all of the content for a relationship with a generic girl, but I am planning on making as much dialogue as possible personality based in v0.29.1 and future updates. I am also planning to have unique pregnancy events for family members, but again that will likely be coming in a future update.

Considering the game is as much about making and selling serums I would love to know if these serums are popular or not. At the moment you are guaranteed to sell everything you make. Would be funny if as you keep selling it the (game) people would catch onto the player and send inspectors or FDA after you or at least reduce the effectiveness of selling the same product over time.

Without cheesing the game too much I think you currently have somewhere around 2-3 months of progress at which point you'll have done everything you can with every character you care to do it with, meaning that, assuming it takes a month from beginning of game to get a girl pregnant, you're still going have to click new day around 210 times in a row without anything changing. So at the moment I think any pregnancy content *requires* a way of speeding up/advancing it.

2020-05-25 01:38:09 +0000 UTCI'm assuming it's more of an, "everyone at my house is busy, and my nearest relatives live out of town, so I'm going to stay with them incase something goes wrong or I need help" sort of a situation; to me, the ones that don't really make sense would be YOUR family members; but, I assume the whole system will be refined at a later date

2020-05-24 19:36:30 +0000 UTCQuick suggestion, you may not want to have the girl's breasts return to the smaller size. And is there any plan at all for some kind of lactation flag? Speaking from personal experience, breasts don't necessarily return to their previous size after having a kid... Also, even if you drop the pregnancy body type, you might want to have them increase their body size a bit after having a baby. Baby weight doesn't fall off.

2020-05-24 14:56:01 +0000 UTCWhy would they need to leave town for a few days? Everyone has already seen them pregnant by that point so it shouldn't be to hide the pregnancy. If it a girl you are having an affair with she has a significant other to help her during the final stages, and family members have other family to help. The only ones that might have a reason to leave are girls that live alone but cant you invite them to stay with you for a few days or temporarily move in with them or assign another girl you have fully corrupted to live with her and help her for a while leading to some kinky situations an example would be where you get stephanie pregnant and tell lily to go stay with her and help her for a while. You come over to visit and find lily sucking on or milking stephanie's breasts or something to that effect, then suprise threesome.
