Honestly, its hard to tell what this girl will do next though! Zarifa obviously wanted to kill off all the cubs in the ravine and USE the death of her newborn baby cubs as cover to show she was with them that whole day OR to make up for Zibara and Ayodele living her assassination attempt, but it seemed so last minute thing for her to do. She's very unpredictable.
