Decades of Denial, page 30

In my story, Uru plays a big role in turning Mufasa and Taka/Scar against each other. In her eyes, Taka is always an innocent victim who can do no wrong on purpose, while Mufasa is "the future king" who's not responsible enough, wise enough, caring enough, or anything enough. She loves both her sons, but she expects too much of Mufasa and barely anything of Taka. It's partially because she herself was the oldest of triplets. She always felt it was her responsibility to take care of her little brothers (Kiume and Angu), especially after their parents died. But as I've explained earlier, she lost her brothers for years and thought they were dead. She blames herself for not being a good older sibling, and she's trying to make sure Mufasa is better. But Mufasa just feels like he's never good enough, which is why he's not very close with his mother.

As for Thema? She and Uru are close because they're both lionesses and Uru is her main teacher. Uru expects a lot of Thema too, but she's less harsh with her.

I really like how you've laid out the DOD. you portray Scar as always being selfish which has escalated into full-blown sociopathic as opposed to forced into villainy by a tragic childhood. Also that Mufasa and Scar didn't get on form the start.

Dang. Great Spirit guided him out of her womb first? That's a lot of pressure on little Muffy.

Cool can't wait to read more of Taka's story and yeah I get that AU's aren't for everyone, I'd try to write/type one myself but I completely suck at it lol paragraphs and that aren't my strong suit so it would most likely end up everywhere but where I would like it to go haha.

Poor Mufasa! Things are not going to go well either way, as I seriously doubt Taka would appreciate his brother watching over him :/

This is a story of how Taka becomes evil. I don't really like writing (or reading) AU's. I've tried to write some in the past, but I've come to the conclusion that they're not my thing. XD

Thanks! :)

Will this comic follow some of the main story line in where Taka becomes Scar?, because it be nice to see a comic where Mufasa is the one to eventually become evil and Taka ends up challenging him and winning. (Ahadi slightly breaks tradition and trains both to be king just in case) . Sorry if this come off as rude I don't mean it to be haha :)

Definitely. But I still love your comics so much!! XD

Yeah, usually Ahadi is the "bad guy". My Ahadi isn't perfect either, but he's still a better father than most Ahadis I've seen. XD

Yeah. :( She doesn't mean to favor anyone, but she's definitely unfair.

Unique, usually Ahadi gets all the blames for the drift against Mufasa and Taka. So really liked that Uru blames Mufasa for what was Taka's idea.

Poor Mufasa. It seems like she plays favorites without even knowing it. :C
