Chapter 46 - I am Spider Tobey

And now you nerfed yourselves and made something called a system just to actively participate in the so-called ‘plot’ and have fun?” She asked with a serious face.
“Basically.” I confirmed with a serious face.
“Puff haha! That’s the best excuse you guys could come up with?” Natasha laughed incredulously and asked.
“It’s not an excuse, it’s the truth!” Ursula puffed out her cheeks, upset that her friend didn’t believe them.
“Alright! Alright! Assuming what you said is true. You’re in control of your own nerf, right? Then un-nerf yourselves and prove it.” She challenged, not buying any of it.
I became thoughtful. Wouldn’t doing this ruin our fun?
I looked at the girls and saw that they were also thinking about it. After a few seconds of silence, Emily was the first to speak.
“Okay, but we can’t let this happen again. We’ll show her only because Natasha will probably be our future sister. But only if she’s going to be our future sister, otherwise it’ll get boring fast.” Emily said.
“”””Agreed!”””” We all said.
“Sister? What are you talking about?” Natasha asked, furrowing her brows in confusion.
“We could see that before this whole mess started, you had a good impression of our husband, and since the husband also likes you, you’ll probably become his wife.” Ursula explained with a smile.
Natasha felt a little irritated upon realizing she was indeed developing a crush on Peter, but after so much craziness, she no longer had that good feeling.
“Well, Natasha, is there any specific power or action you want to see to prove we’re telling the truth?” I asked.
“I don’t know, just show me some powers or something.” She said uncertainly, still not believing anything.
“Well, I can show you anything, but I imagine you’ll just think I’m someone powerful.” I said, unsure, but still, I un-nerfed my secondary body.
“Let’s go to space so I can show you my abilities.” I said with a smile and appeared in front of her before she could react.
“Wha-...” She tried to say, but I didn’t give her time.
Since I was way too fast for her, I easily took advantage and passed one of my arms under her delicious thighs and the other over her back.
Then, carrying her like a princess, I started flying and passing through walls as if I were a ghost, and of course, this extended to Natasha.
We became invisible as we left the building and began flying at absurd speeds. Fortunately for Natasha, I created a barrier so she wouldn’t be torn apart by the speed against the air resistance.
“Damn! You guys are so strong. What’s your plan hiding so much power?” She asked through clenched teeth.
Gwen, Ursula, Emily, and MJ were flying by my side, also invisible to others. I could only look helplessly at them.
We were so fast that even this small interaction was enough time for us to leave Earth’s atmosphere.
Ursula projected her voice into Natasha’s mind, “We already told you everything, we’re not hiding anything!” She said helplessly.
We kept increasing speed and soon arrived on the Moon.
I let go of Natasha, and she slowly landed on the ground.
She was completely dazed at that moment. Trying to stand on the Moon, she struggled for a while and finally managed to do it. Lucky for her, the Moon has gravity; otherwise, she wouldn’t have managed properly.
“How am I breathing?” She asked, shocked, looking around, completely forgetting to maintain her fighting stance.
“I’m supplying oxygen to your body and allowing your voice to propagate in the space around us. Do you need more proof? If you want, I can destroy a planet or a sun so you can believe me.” I asked with a serious face. I wanted to get this over with.
“NO!... cough I mean, no, no need.” She first screamed in fear but, realizing what she did, coughed into her fist and recomposed herself.
“Natasha is funny. Normally, we always see her so composed in the movies, as if the end of the world is nothing to her. But she’s giving us some pretty surprising reactions.” Emily said amusedly, stroking her chin.
“Well, in her normal fate, things escalate gradually, giving her time to get used to it. But now, she just jumped from dealing with ordinary humans to beings that can destroy planets like nothing.” I said, sharing my opinion on why Natasha was reacting this way.
“OK! Stop talking like I’m not here.” Natasha said, frustrated and confused.
I looked at Natasha for a moment and thought it was time to end this. So, with a thought, I teleported myself and the girls to another part of the universe, in front of a dead planet that wouldn’t be a problem if destroyed.
“Huh? Where are we?” Natasha asked, looking around, but all she saw was a red planet in front of her and some floating asteroids in the distance.
“Approximately 34 billion light-years from Earth. This is a dead planet, so destroying it won’t cause any problems.” I explained, shrugging.
And despite Natasha’s protests, I took her on a quick tour around the planet. Its diameter was about twice that of Earth.
Then, after the visit to the giant, useless red rock, we returned to space.
"I'm going to punch now, watch closely." I said and stopped limiting my strength.
Then, I punched with full force and manipulated the shockwave using my cosmic energy so that my punch reached the red planet in its entirety.
Then, as if Thanos had snapped his fingers, the planet started crumbling away until nothing was left.
The girls and I stared at it without blinking.
After a few seconds of silence, I said, "It's cooler when the planet's core is destroyed and it explodes from the inside." With a hand on my chin, I gave my analysis.
"Yeah, this one was kinda anti-climatic…" Emily said, slightly bored.
"How many planets have you destroyed?" Natasha asked in shock, her mouth still wide open in amazement.
"""""A few!""""" The girls and I said in unison.
At that moment, Natasha was exhausted.
I teleported us back to the apartment, and Natasha went straight to bed without saying a word.
I guess it was too much of a shock for her in one day.
…
..
.
The next morning, we were having breakfast in silence.
"Sooo, what are you thinking, Natasha?" I asked, unable to bear the silence.
Natasha looked up and furrowed her brows. After thinking for a moment, she asked with a serious face, "What's the name of your race?"
The girls and I looked at each other, surprised, and then laughed.
"What? Why are you laughing?" she asked, furrowing her brows even more.
"Natasha, we're humans. It's because Pete is the crazy genius that he is that we got these powers." Ursula said, smiling cutely.
"Huh?! You mean you're humans? You can give these powers to anyone you want?" Natasha asked, surprised, and with a hint of eagerness—after all, who wouldn't want the power to destroy a planet with a single punch?
"Well, we can. But this power is exclusive to our branch of the Parker family. If you want it, you have to marry Peter," Emily explained while devouring a pancake.
The confirmation that we could create gods out of mere humans made her eyes widen, but hearing about marriage made her feel weird.
"So, you're in a harem because of the powers Peter can grant?" Natasha asked, as if she had caught onto something.
The entire table fell silent.
"Natasha, never say that again. We've been with Peter since we were kids, even before we ever thought about gaining any kind of power. And if you want to be in this relationship, you have to have the same mindset. And don't think that, as a Black Widow, you're more experienced than a bunch of young people. We've been through way more than you, and technically, we've lived thousands of years more than you," MJ said in a warning tone—she didn't like where Natasha’s mindset was leading her.
"In the Parker family, love comes before anything else. Power isn’t even worth mentioning in the Parker family," Ursula said with an extremely solemn face.
I completely agree with what the girls said. In simulations, we have been through countless things and experiences. And in simulations, we've lived for thousands of years.
If Natasha wants to be with me, she will never be able to deceive me if she's only after power.
"Natasha, live with us for a while. We'll give you a suit, and we’ll become vigilantes together. And don't try to hand the suit over to SHIELD—we'll know." I offered. I really liked Natasha; she fit in well with our group. We wanted her to stay with us. And I wanted even more for her to have Parker as her last name.
Natasha looked down, clenched her fists for a while, and finally made her decision.
Right in front of us, she took a wireless earpiece from her pocket, put it in her ear, and pressed her middle and index fingers against it.
"Fury, I found out how they got their powers. They aren’t powers, they're suits," Natasha said.
The girls and I looked at each other and smiled. We had been through a lot, and we could see in Natasha’s eyes which choice she had made.
"Yes. Actually, I already got a suit—they invited me to join the team… That won’t be possible. The suits have a lot of technological devices. If I try to take their technology, I’ll be detected, and the suit will self-destruct," Natasha explained.
She then stood still as if listening to instructions.
"Understood. My mission now is to stay on the team, dig up their information, and ensure they’re trustworthy before inviting them to SHIELD," she stated.
"Don't worry, I can handle it alone," she said, disconnecting the call and looking at us with a serious face.
I extended my hand and smiled, "Welcome to the team."
