Chapter 2 - I am Spider Tobey

“Huh? Already over?!” He put his hand in and took it out before I could react. I bet he didn’t even need to place his hand there; he just did it to scare me. And judging by the smile on his face, I must be right.

Not caring at all about my discomfort from having my mind read, he said:

“Well, I believe this is going to be fun! Hahaha.
 Let's start listing your wishes. I will grant you seven wishes. None of them will give you power, but they will open doors to make your future path smoother.

• 1st wish: Handsome appearance. Well, even though I love Tobey’s looks, it’ll be way cooler to be a guy with what my Chinese friends call 'beauty capable of toppling nations.' Hahaha. Of course, it won’t be that exaggerated, but you’ll be very handsome.”

‘Hmm, not bad… not bad at all, hehe.’ I thought.

He continued:

• 2nd wish: Protection from annoying guys. This wish allows you to talk to Stan Lee and other beings without them realizing you’re an anomaly, demanding something from you, or even trying to ban you. In short, these absurdly powerful guys won’t target you just for existing… of course, you can’t just spit on the One Above All. The wish simply hides your reincarnator status, but if you go out of your way to provoke them, well, good luck.
   This wish is more for the future. The Tobey universe I’m sending you to doesn’t have these annoying beings, hahaha. The Stan Lee there is just a good and hardworking man, but the MCU Stan Lee is actually the OAA.
   As a bonus, for your first 17 years in the Tobey universe, you can live in peace. No random thug will kill your uncles, loved ones, or you, hehe. Of course, you can’t go around insulting a gangster’s mother. After 17 years, if some random guy kills your uncles, that’s not my problem anymore, tehee~.”

It was kind of bizarre to see Thor—a ROB on top of that—doing a “tehee” with a peace sign, but it's probably best not to comment on it. As for the wish, it’s simply magnificent.

Thor continued:

• 3rd wish: Private world. No being can enter or leave your world without your permission.

• 4th wish: Altered Twilight imprinting. This will make you imprint on the girls you love or will love, and they will love you back. You can completely trust a girl with imprinting; she will practically become your soulmate and care deeply for you, just as you will for her—it’s a two-way street.
   It also has the benefit that if your girl isn’t very pretty, is missing a limb, or has a disease or curse, the imprinting will remove those conditions when it happens for the first time and make her beautiful, hehe. But it only happens the first time; if they lose a limb or get cursed later, that's on you guys.
   Oh, right! The Gwen Stacy in Tobey’s universe isn’t really Gwen Stacy, so I’ll place you in a slightly alternate universe where the only difference is that Gwen is a nerd, as she should be. Hmm, she’ll also have the appearance of Gwen from Spider-Andrew… Oh, and another difference: there’s no Harry Osborn, but instead, Emily Osborn, beloved daughter of Norman, aka the Green Goblin, hehehe. ‘Damn, he’s going so fast! Well, a private world is great, but knowing I’ll probably have a harem… I have no words to describe my excitement!’ I thought eagerly.

Thor didn’t stop to let me process everything and was speaking even faster:

• 5th wish: Don’t mind my harem. This wish will only work in your ‘Tobey’ universe, just so you and your girls can live peacefully in your home universe. The wish works in a way that people won’t care that you have a harem or that the girls are part of it.

• 6th wish: AI linked to the soul. An assistant to help you. It won’t be very powerful, but you can upgrade it yourself. It can’t be found or hacked and is 100% loyal since it’s part of your soul. Because it’s linked to both your soul and mind and is inviolable, you also gain that property! So don’t worry about mind readers or manipulators messing with your head, nor about serums that affect personality!
   As a bonus, when girls imprint on you, they will also receive protection against mind reading and manipulation since their souls will be somewhat linked to yours.

And I, who had been attentively listening to the machine-gun fire of wishes I was receiving, was stunned by the final wish and only had time to say:

With a snap, the chair disappeared, and I found myself falling into the void at an insane speed. So fast that I could actually tell I was moving in the void, which seemed absurd to even think about.

“HAHAHAhahaha...”

I could only hear Thor’s thunderous laughter growing more distant as I fell deeper and deeper.

I didn’t even get a chance to ask why he was reincarnating me, but something—maybe an instinct I never knew I had—told me that he did it simply because he could… and maybe because he liked me. Not in a homo way, just as a person.

By this point, I had already stopped screaming and was simply admiring the high-speed view, reflecting on everything that had happened in this short period. Suddenly, I saw a bright light in the direction I was falling. It grew closer and closer until I entered it, and my vision was engulfed in white.

In the void, Thor stood still, looking in the direction Peter had fallen. After a while, he spoke to himself.

“Sigh Why has no one made a fanfic of Tobey’s universe?... Okay, I admit I only checked the top ones, and out of laziness, I didn’t search elsewhere. I figured it’d be easier to make one myself. I hope you create a good story for me to write, hahaha.”
