My favorite Bob-ism is his refusal to accept that not every time someone says "you" are they talking about a specific person. I don't think Bob will ever stop asking "who is this about?" Lol

Outkast had better flows than any song on this project 30 years ago. And one of my favourite artist is Billy Woods and is not like he's the most musically popping artist but at least his music give me a feeling, makes me think about stuff. And its a shame because he has a lot of potential. Or maybe is just not for me 🤷♂️

2026-02-07 08:07:48 +0000 UTCWhen you talked about talking to your ego when something didn't go well "oh you poor thing" I just thought about the southern saying I hear a lot "Bless your heart". In reality it's basically "I'm sorry your stupid". In most contexts it comes across as shitty, but when its talking to your own ego, I really like it. I feel so much of that in this album, just JCole checking himself in things that don't really matter, but also propping himself up with things he knows he's great at. Related, every time I think of this saying I think of a commercial for home loans I saw all the time growing up, who basically shamed people who rented instead of buying homes. If you were renting, his catch phrase was "bless your heart", aka you're fucking idiot, get a loan from us a buy a house. This isn't hyperbole, he leaned into it and would almost outright say it.
