Reacting to "Debí Tirar Más Fotos" by Bad Bunny

Sorry for the delay on the video, it's been a busy day. This was about as fast as I could get it posted. And I apologize for all of the kitty distractions. Hippo was being particularly needy this morning. I think he's officially starting to get stir crazy (we don't let the cats outside due to our previous cat getting mauled by a neighbor dog). Voodoo is as content as can be, but it seems like Hippo wants to go conquer the world.

Enjoy that weekend 🍻

Hey Bob, was wondering if you were going to react to music videos to this one?

Great reaction Bob, I've been a fan of your channel for some time, but it's my first time on the patreon. I want to briefly provide some context. For clarification, I am not Boricua (aka not from PR) but I am Mexican, identifying as indigenous. Bad Bunny, yes makes fun, silly, and club-pop song, but this album in particular, and Bad Bunny for several years has been outspoken and an incredibly positive figure for PR. This album, as a whole, marries the concept of Bad Bunny's infatuation and subsequent heartbreak and heartache with his feelings for PR. Bad Bunny makes that increasingly clear in the video concepts, and the performances of this album, and the short film for this album. The latin(e) experience is one of melancholy and turmoil wrapped in the fun and the experience of dance and food. That applies to many, but there is a unique nature to the melancholy expressed in dance. Lo Que Le Paso A Hawaii, and certainly DTMF, and La Mundanza capture these feelings over a woman and how they're manifestations over his home of PR. This whole album, while not a wild concept album, is an expression of these two things in tandem. Notwithstanding, Bad Bunny is a remarkable figure for his size as an artist by being an outspoken advocate for PR liberation from the colonial power of the US Empire, and has expressed solidarity against the colonialist Yankee in a subtle way in Mexico City, PR, Chile, wherever he is in America Latina. Lo Que Le Paso a Hawaii is one of my favorite songs off this record for that. I would check out his Tiny Desk in your spare time to see some more of what I'm talking about. Much love from a Mexican communist, jaja. Sorry for the yap.
