I'm sure there are plenty of other reasons too and it may depend on the type of reaction channel that you're watching, but at least for me you got it just right. I'm essentially just wanting to share the experience of listening to music with other people who are passionate about music and this is one way of doing that over the internet.

Worth noting that Sade has an INCREDIBLE live album including a version of Cherish the Day that got me into her music as a kid. It features much more prominent bassline/drumming and might be worth a listen.
